It is an obsession with parents who are getting very little. The first question people ask when they hear you have a baby is “getting any sleep?” With my help at Baby Sleep Solutions you can say yes!
I will provide you with a skill set that will put you in control– rather than at the mercy of the situation.
I will help your baby get on a sleep schedule that is correct for your baby’s age and weight and help you implement the plan into your life.
Obstacles that I can help you with include, but are not limited to:
- Putting your child to sleep
- Helping your child sleep thorough the night
- Transitioning your child from two naps to one nap per day.
I will develop a personalized plan especially for you and your baby.
By following my Ten Tips right from birth you will be helping your child develop self-soothing methods and better sleeping habits right from infancy. As one Los Angeles mother reports, “Kathy had our son organized and on a sleep schedule by the time he was six weeks old”.
Kathy’s gentle approach focuses simultaneously on six key areas:
- Mothering the mother
- Feeding
- Setting up a sleep schedule
- Addressing health concerns
- Incorporating and infant into the family
- Restoring sleep , fun and order to your home.
Family history, sleep environment, health, feedings and sleep cycles will be discussed at your consultation. No matter how many books you have read, this is designed to be a support system to help your family develop better sleeping habits.
Initial evaluation and consultation usually takes 2 hours and can be done either by telephone or in your home. Call or email Kathy today
Prior to our work together, your pediatrician should rule out or complete treatment of any medical problems that may be causing or contributing to your child's sleep problems. It is important that your pediatrician agree that your child "should" sleep through the night given their age, weight and medical health.
